PREVIEW

Felicity Jones has barely had time to catch her breath following all the hubbub that surrounded her Oscar-nominated performance in The Theory of Everything. Explains Jones: “I love the work I’m getting to do… the downside is that I have no life!”

THE INTERVIEW

Q: How much of your own personality tends to be reflected in your roles? Do you identify with your character Jyn Erso in Rogue One, for example?

JONES: I think there are aspects of me in all my characters. I enjoy taking on challenges and getting to be part of a genre that is traditionally dominated by men has become an opportunity to play a very independent and courageous woman.

She’s also someone who knows what she wants in life and I appreciate that kind of determination. In my own life, I’m a hard worker, I’m very passionate about what I do, and I have a very hopeful nature.
