Michael Fassbender Interview – The Light Between Oceans – “Getting to work with Alicia was not only an honour but also a great challenge to keep up with”
He’s enjoyed one of the busiest careers in Hollywood since landing his breakthrough in Steve McQueen’s Hunger. And despite the fact that he’s working on nine different upcoming movies including The Snowman and Prometheus sequel Alien Covenant, some acting and producing, Michael Fassbender seems remarkably chipper today. “People keep asking me all morning if I’m exhausted from the pace and I’m actually alright. But maybe I just look wrecked which is lovely to be reminded of.”
How was the experience of working together?
FASSBENDER: Getting to work with Alicia was not only an honour but also a great challenge to keep up with her boundariless talent, she’s extraordinary. It’s rare to work with someone who has no fear, no hang ups, she has absolute certainty in her actions, which actors who are at the early stages of their career tend to bring, there’s that hunger and appetite that’s exhilarating to be around.
