Rebecca Ferguson: “Because we are f***ing amazing, what else can I say? Swedish actors are all fabulous.” – ‘The Snowman’

Since a relatively recent breakthrough in BBC’s The White Queen, the 33-year-old Swede has earned top billing in a string of blockbusters including Life with Jake Gyllenhaal, The Girl on the Train with Emily Blunt, Florence Foster Jenkins with Meryl Streep and of course, Mission Impossible alongside the great TC [Tom Cruise to the uninitiated].

There’s an all singing, all dancing performance with Hugh Jackman in the upcoming musical extravaganza, The Greatest Showman. And latest turn as a rookie cop hunting a serial killer with Michael Fassbender in the chilling thriller, The Snowman.

And while most up n’comers would find this rapid rise disorientating, Ferguson is resolutely cool, calm and quizzically friendly. To use her own expression, she’s a ‘potpourri of lush.’
