Reese Witherspoon Interview – Sing – “I like moms being championed. They don’t get enough credit”
Reese Witherspoon fell in love with her Sing character, Rosita, the put-upon porcine mum of 25 piglets who longs for dreams of musical stardom. Fell in love with everything but her outfit, consisting of an orange shirt and peddle-pushers.
Q: Could you relate to her and that?
WITHERSPOON: … And that’s a nice message for kids in this movie, to appreciate their moms. Actually, there are so many great messages about family togetherness but I think this was my favourite. I like moms being championed. They don’t get enough credit.
